The Siphon is a story included in the book [[The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All]]. In The Siphon, a corporate spy named Lancaster gets recruited by the NSA and becomes entangled in a conspiracy that goes way deeper than he could have conceived. Some occultists/cultists guide a group of people to a specific geographical location in Kansas and sacrifice them to (probably) the [[Children of Old Leech]]. After the event, Lancaster describes the location where the sacrifice took place: "(...) An ossified ridge that curled in a grand arc, the spine of a baby Ouroboros, a gap between jaws and tail." (The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All, p. ) Because of the mention of the [[Ouroboros]], this story probably ties in with the [[Old Leech]] Mythos. #Story #Beautiful
