Eadweard Muybridge is a [[Photography|photographer]] who is mentioned in [[Hand of Glory (Story)]]. He is the estranged father of [[Conrad Paxton]] - whom he later reconciled with. In Hand of Glory, Muybridge is credited as creating the first moving picture and him (or at least his son) seems to have ties to the occult.
Eadweard Muybridge was an acquaintance of [[Johnny Cope]]'s father, who know eachother from the army.
The couple of [[Six Six Six]] come across some of Muybridge's color plates in a box in the husband's old family home.
Muybridge is also briefly mentioned in the [[Antiquity]] story [[The One We Tell Bad Children]].
### __Eadweard Muybridge in real life__
Contrary to most of Barron's characters, Eadweard Muybridge actually existed. According to [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eadweard_Muybridge), he was an "English photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion and early work in motion-picture projection".
Was the real Muybridge in any way sketchy or occult? I hope so. Comparison between fictional and real Muybridge TBA.
