Carol is a recurring character first featured in [[The Imago Sequence]] and later in [[Jaws of Saturn]]. In The Imago Sequence, she is protagonist [[Marvin Cortez]]' girlfriend. Later, in Jaws of Saturn, she lives at [[The Broadsword (Building)]] in [[Olympia, WA|Olympia]] ([[Washington State]]), is dating a man called Franco and is a patient of hypnotherapist (and occultist and magician) [[Phil Wary]]. The fact that Carol appears in both the Imago Sequence and Jaws of Saturn seemingly makes her part of the two allegedly separate universes (citation needed? haha) created by Laird Barron: the one revolving around [[Transhumanism]] and the [[Old Leech]] Mythos. This suggest either that the both, distinct universes can overlap - pointing towards a possible [[Multiverse]].
